Domestic terrorist Bill Ayers must be grinning pierced ear to pierced ear if he has read the DHS report on “Rightwing Extremism.” The guilty as hell, free as a bird” buddy of Barack must know the fruit of his and his contemporaries’ educational efforts are ripening on the vine…. at a pace that should alarm normal Americans.

The Obama DHS has apparently turned into yet another arm of the Barack Obama never-ending campaign. Of course this arm wields a great deal of power and is flexing its muscle. The targets of intimidation would be surprising in a sane society. What makes a potential “rightwing extremist” terrorist? Not a fine, upstanding pentagon bomber like Barack’s buddy Bill, but:

Veterans who have served their country.

People who value innocent life.

People who value federalism.

People who respect our borders.

Notice how the libs’ disdain for our military shines through as they identify returning military members as potential recruits for these “rightwing extremist” groups.

Naturally the propaganda includes several references to the racism that anyone who has disdain for Obambi must harbor. This excuse for a security agency apparently can’t imagine that some of “Big Brother” Barry’s detractors might actually value their liberty and the limited government as defined by the Constitution. Apparently the love of this nation and liberty is cause for concern.

If you believe in state’s rights, you are a rabid rightwing bastard!

If you object to the brutal dismembering of an unborn child, you are a rightwing zealot!

If you believe that those here illegally are “illegal,” you are a rightwing potential terrorist!

If you are a veteran, you are putty in the hands of rightwing extremists!

If you object to any of Obama’s agenda, you are a dangerous rightwing racist!

If you are an unrepentant domestic terrorist, you are the salt of the liberal earth and are free to indoctrinate as many young people as possible. It doesn’t hurt if the President of the United States of America got his political career started by kissing your ring at a fundraiser in your home. I wonder if DHS will entertain adopting The Weather Underground’s plans for re-education camps for offending people of character… or as the report calls them, “rightwing extremists.”

The Hill has a report about noted RINO and liberal policy enabler, Sen. Arlen Specter (RINO – PA) and his campaign tactic… vote extortion. (Specter would fit in well in Illinois, where the forces of “moderation” are working to frighten voters into rejecting conservative candidates.) Ah, the genius “moderate” movement (reminds me of another kind of “movement”) that offered John McCain as the lesser of two liberals in the presidential election, is once again at work. The theory is that a conservative can’t win a statewide election and less of a lib is better than more of a lib.

TheHill.com – Specter: Toomey can’t win, is to right of Santorum:

During an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program, Specter (R-Pa.) provided a preview of his strategy against Toomey. Specter said Toomey fought for deregulation, embraced private accounts in Social Security and, if nominated, would lose the general election and allow Democrats to pass so-called card-check legislation favored by organized labor.

Specter said Toomey is “to the right” of former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), adding, “Santorum lost by 18 points [in 2006], spent $31 million and was a two-term incumbent.”

The jab at Santorum comes in the wake of Santorum’s silence on whether he will endorse Specter’s bid for a sixth term. Santorum backed Specter in his tight 2004 primary win over Toomey. President Bush also backed Specter over Toomey.

“If Toomey is the nominee, you can be sure he’ll lose,” Specter said, claiming Democrats would then have the votes to pass card-check and allow the White House and congressional Democrats to steamroll their agenda through Congress.

I know there are elements in the Republican Party that profess “you can’t govern if you don’t win” and obviously this sentiment is true. The entire picture is not represented in this slogan as there are side effects of developing an “anything to win” mindset. A Republican politician that adopts an Alinsky-ish “ends justify the means” approach might not have any credibility once in office. Of course if the idea is to gain favor with those that would otherwise vote Democrat, perhaps credibility doesn’t matter. What matters in this case is to find the delicate balance between flaming liberal and smoldering liberal and hope that smoldering liberal is what the voters seek.

There is a danger associated with the extortion attempts by these RINOs. If they succeed in convincing the primary voters that principled conservatives cannot defeat a Democrat opponent and if this happens with increasing frequency, we the people get stuck with… our current elected officials! The continual watering down of Republican candidates and the blurring of the line that might otherwise differentiate them from their Democrat opponents can only result in Democrat office holders (or office holders that might as well be Democrats.)

It is almost funny to see Specter trying to use the ‘Obama will get his way if I’m replaced by a Democrat vote in the Senate’ ploy since he and his despicable RINO sisters from Maine in many cases ensure just that! So do we cast conservative candidates out of primary contests in the hope that if the lesser lib wins, he or she will not support the liberal agenda more than 60% of the time?

Next thing you know people will be pushing Republicans to nominate a pro-choice, pro-gun control U.S. Representative to be a senator or governor. I’m not mentioning any names. I just hope we aren’t put in the all-too-familiar position in 2010 of being lectured on the value of supporting a Republican liberal because to refuse makes you an Obama supporter!

I don’t always agree with Newt Gingrich and assumed his “warning” of a third party in 2012 was aimed at admonishing conservatives to stick by the party come Hell or high RINOs. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when I read Andy Barr’s report on Politico, “Gingrich: GOP-ers may form third party.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is warning fellow Republicans that conservatives may leave the GOP for a third party in 2012.

“If the Republicans can’t break out of being the right wing party of big government, then I think you would see a third party movement in 2012,” Gingrich said Wednesday during a speech at the College of the Ozarks in Missouri, the local television station KY3 reported.

Gingrich thrashed Republicans for allowing increased spending during the Bush administration and for not doing enough to block President Barack Obama’s early initiatives.

It is encouraging to read such a report. Too often people of principle are lectured that, like many of the corporations that received undeserved bailouts, the Republican Party is “too big to fail!” Of course, those words were not used to convince conservatives to vote for whatever RINO was offered simply because he or she had an “R” attached to his or her name, but the sentiment was the same.

It also provides an oasis in the sandstorm whipped desert of limp “reformers” and their calls to become the Democrat Party Jr. (Note: these calls only increased in spite of the fact that the ideal candidate of these “reformer” RINO weenies was nominated by Democrats, “Independents”, and Huckabee in last year’s presidential debacle!)

Now for the $9.3 trillion question: Will the big spending RINO Obama enablers heed the warning? I have serious doubts as the appeal of power seems to trump principle for a majority of politicians. It may also appear that the path of least resistance is on Obama’s coat tails. I wonder if the Republican powers that be know what happens to a snowball as it rolls down a snowy hillside? The only certainty is that if Republican losses continue or increase thanks to the abandoning of limited government and reponsibility, the Repubs will blame conservatives and damn their pesky principles.

Last year, we were lashed with the Republican whip of “you can’t vote against McCain or you are supporting Obama… (so there, we’ve got you right where we want you, you annoying conservatives!)” Perhaps Speaker Gingrich’s words will wake the party leadership up to the reality of the anger that is growing among the electorate. Here’s hoping that our votes are not once again extorted on behalf of the lesser of two liberals.

The leftist demagogues require hate to advance the class warfare that occupies the central space in their agenda. The hate that Obama and his ilk can foster toward a variety of evil and undeserving portions of the population (for example: self-made successful people) is a good hate in the not quite Newspeak of this era. In fact, this type of hate (actual hate) is not considered hate, instead it is viewed as compassion.

In this brave new world “hate” has a new composition. Only in a fledgling Utopia such as our glorious Obamanation does “hate” attain so many new and diverse meanings. Here is a partial list of the Obamaspeak definitions of “hate”:

The desire to have federal and local governments adhere to their respective constitutions or charters.

The act of discussing the past actions, associations, and words of President Obama or any public figure who shares his desire to “change” the greatest nation on Earth into a replication of a lesser nation.

Any acknowledgment of the value of innocent life.

Vocal opposition of forcible redistribution of wealth from the earner to the dependent voting block (funneled through various government agencies.)

Any desire to see our immigration laws enforced or a belief that immigrants who followed the legal process should not be punished for the sake of gaining favor with the victim illegal alien voting block.

Illustration of the advances of adult stem cell or umbilical cord blood stem cell research because unlike embryonic stem cell research, they show promise and also unlike embryonic stem cell research, they do not further the abortion agenda.

An honest assessment of constituent pay-off plans such as FOCA, EFCA, or Cap and Trade.

Opposition to culling the herd through “healthcare reform.”

Any replaying of President Obama off “TOTUS“, as an unscripted moment shines too much sunlight on the “substance” and incoherence of the man who represents “hope” to millions of drones.

The act of pointing out that the bloated and wasteful government can not be trusted with even more control over the lives of citizens.

I contend that one of the best indicators of accuracy is to have one’s words referred to as “hate-filled” by an Obama supporter. This hyphenated word is meant to intimidate opposition, but instead provides affirmation given the Obammunists’ definitions of the word “hate.”

The mascot of the Democratic party is an ass, which MSN Encarta defines in part as:

Ass, also known as a donkey, long-eared mammal related to the horse

Given the words and actions of the leader of the Democrat Party, and unfortunately of our imperiled nation, I believe this picture could accompany the above definition.

This face is more than a symbol for the Democrat Party, it is also a symbol of why we need a “party of no.” There have been recent whining columns and lecturing monologues devoted to admonishing the Republican Party that being the “party of no” is not the way to go. I suspect that many of the lecturers are comfortable with a liberal governing style or at least believe that the key to winning is to promise lottery jackpots to the same groups that are courted by the masters of class warfare in the Democrat Party. It would appear that saying no to government intrusion, massive wealth redistribution, oppressive taxation, the killing of industry, and the weakening of our security equates to not having ideas!

I would suggest that a “party of no” is not a party without ideas, but a party that has its priorities in order! Not that “no” should always be the answer, however, in the current political Hell, “no” must be said first to combat the encroachment. The unfortunately elected reader of TOTUS has an ideology based agenda formed through indoctrination and has never had to be tempered by actually earning a living in the other than political world. The Chicago activist days were nothing more than political stepping stones… he is not from Chicago, he moved there for the sake of political expediency. Now he spews forth grand ideas designed to spread the misery and equalize outcomes. He uses the bully pulpit to force a radical agenda down the collective throat of a nation.

To complain that Republicans should not just say “no” is to accept that the party must enter into the give away game. It is to accept that our society has degraded so far that we are not capable of making individual decisions, of caring for ourselves, or of charitable giving. It is to assert that individual citizens are not smart enough to control their destinies.

If some lib were to propose a “cap and trade” scheme to cripple industry and redistribute wealth globally for the sake of punishing emitters of the gas humans naturally exhale and that plants need to live, we would require a “party of NO!”

Imagine if some libiot were to propose legislation that forced those who preserve life to instead take it or made it legally acceptable to dismember and remove a full term baby from his mother’s womb or legalized the practice of killing the child of a child without notifying the parents of the pregnant child, we would require a “party of NO!” By the way, the sickness of the libiot is displayed in these assaults on parental notification. Parental consent is required to go on a field trip or play a sport, but not to undergo the baby butchering procedure?

Say some libtard floated a big labor pay-off plan to eliminate the use of private ballots in the decision to unionize and harm a company, we would need a “party of NO!”

What if a powerful lib teleprompter reader wanted to control the salaries of private business executives? Can I get a “party of NO?”

Pretend some really stupid, yet powerful libs desired to ruin the health care of Canadians by making health care in our country an imitation of theirs, complete with rationing and ridiculously long waiting lists, thus depriving them a free country to visit when they need a medical procedure. Pretend that this dastardly nationalization of health care wasn’t just intended to keep Canadians out of our country, but would also be thrust upon the majority of we citizens! We would require a “party of HELL NO” to tell the libtard elite that the citizens of this country will not be forced into a health care system that doesn’t work, that has some board of bureaucrats deciding whose life is worthy of sparing, and that drives medical professionals to seek other lines of work while they and their comfortably wealthy friends can afford medical tourism and other methods of private care.

When the governing party proposes anything that does not fall within the established guidelines of its particular level of government, we need a “party of NO.” When the libiots attempt to create more victims and therefore dependents in order to gain a permanent iron fisted majority, we need a “party of NO!” When Barack Obama and his leftist ilk seek to suppress the voices of dissent and turn this great nation into Cuba or Venezuala, we need a “party of NO!”

Note to RINO’s and “reformers” please fell free to whine or , better yet, join the party that fits your agenda.

An unholy alliance, geared toward the complete degradation of our free nation, is being formed according to Politico. The coalition of societal carcinogens is actually called “Unity ‘09″ but of course Unholy ‘09 is much more fitting given the members and its agenda.

From the Politico piece:

A broad coalition of left-leaning groups is quietly closing ranks into a new coalition, “Unity ‘09,” aimed at helping President Barack Obama push his agenda through Congress.

Conceived at a New York meeting before the November election, two Democrats familiar with the planning said, Unity ‘09 will draw together money and grassroots organizations to pressure lawmakers in their home states to back White House legislation and other progressive causes.

The destructive alliance reads like a police line-up of organizations that exist to further prod our nation toward Socialism, destroy innocent life, degrade our society, silence honest voices, and punish success. This foul gathering consists of:

MoveOn.org

ACLU

La Raza

Planned Parenthood

labor unions

environmentalist nuts

Barack Obama’s agenda is nothing more than a dangerous homage to these leftist parasites so it is fitting that they would ban together to ram the ruination of our society through Congress. This should be cause for outrage and alarm given the terrifying fact that Obama has already begun the process of implementing so much of his hopeful “change” (or as Americans call it redistributive punishment.) Imagine the frenetic pace at which this teleprompted fool has already issued or rescinded executive orders, initiated unprecedented government intrusions, and damaged a fragile economy… multipLIED by the coordinated efforts of the well-funded propagandists listed above!

There is a very real justification for alarm. This is not a time for RINO “reformers” or moderate weenies to sell their wares to The Republican Party. This is not a time for messages of softening values or acceptance of the principles espoused by this unholy alliance. Once again, so that even Meghan McCain or David Frum might be able to understand it, The Democrats already have the Unholy ‘09 market cornered!

I have, over the past few weeks, seen the error of my ways. I have witnessed the fiery wrath brought upon any who dare voice dissent with regards to the new administration and the path on which it would place this nation. I now know that the ideas of fairness, equality, justice, hope, and change transcend political ideology and can be realized if we, as a collective come together to support our president.

I want President Obama to succeed because I am tired. Having to get up and go to work every weekday morning wears on a person. The “progressive” cuts at my place of employment are evidence of of the “hope” President Obama’s plans for economic and environmental “justice” can inspire. My former co-workers can now sleep late on a Monday morning, resting comfortably with the knowledge that given a chance to succeed, President Obama’s economic message will enable the majority of their former peers to be able to catch up on their sleep.

In addition to being tired, I know that I have been living the life of the sucker, who works for a living and believes that a person can be responsible for himself and his family. What a dumbass! Obviously I should be dependent upon government to decide my future and control my destiny. I have learned that the wage earner is evil if said earner does not belong to a labor union, isn’t in a government job, or isn’t in the entertainment industry. I don’t want to be evil! I do not deserve a wage beyond that which meets my basic needs and perhaps a subsidy for the needs of my family. I should give up my cares to the state.

I need Obama to succeed because it is only “fair” that we as ugly Americans do not consume more resources (thank you Mark Levin for reminding us of “The One’s” moving campaign speech) than those in lesser developed regions of the world. The same type of “fairness” should be applied via government mandate such that there is income equality. Of course I do not seek income equality based on skill or contribution, that is the archaic way! That is not “change!” I seek income equality based on… nothing but pure “fairness.” I am a person and therefore I do not deserve to earn more than another person. After all, its not like I’m a member of the liberal elite.

I need President Obama to succeed so that my children (which I should not have fathered, but hadn’t been enlightened by the glow of his emminence Obama) can grow into productive party members and have a “green” planet to inherit. Our children should not be drawn to material wealth, unless they are the children of the liberal elite. Our children should be raised in the natural way… without using electricity or indoor plumbing. Our children should worship Al Gore as a prophet of the eco-gods and should pray an Inconvenient Truth. We should teach our children to forego square meals (because some might be starving) and use only one square per dirt toilet visit.

We need President Obama to succeed because there can never be too much government regulation and the only way jobs can truly be “created or saved” is by implementing such restrictive and “progressive” regulations that private business cannot survive. In this brilliant and “fair” plan, we can eventually work for the one great entity and we can do our part. We want to do our part, don’t we? We want to produce or give according to our ability and receive based on our need.(Uncle Karl would be proud… as would Nikita Kruschev.)

We need healthcare reform and we need Barack Obama to do it now before, as Tom Daschle warned in his book, the honeymoon wears off and people lose the afterglow of this “historic” election. We need this healthcare reform to control immigration and save our planet. Sound far-fetched? Our new healthcare system will rival that of other nations and therefore there will be no reason for citizens of those nations to flee to our country to receive care. The elderly, the disabled, and others that cannot contribute to the cause will not be treated in a timely manner according to quality of life calculations, so we can have a greener future with less people leeching off Mother Earth and expelling the filthy (yet plant feeding, oh well to Hell with the plants) carbon dioxide.

People, we need Barack Obama to succeed! To wish otherwise would just plain make sense!

I wanted to comment on the Obamacrisy of the former occupant of the fictional Office of the President-elect’s touting the tax relief 95% of Americans should begin receiving by April 1. According to Michelle Obama’s campaign rhetoric, the tax relief might enable a person to make weekly lay-away payments on her $600 pair of ear rings, but now that she has reason to be proud of her country it is a good thing. Michelle Malkin and several others have covered this so I will move on to “Big Brother” Barry’s “ambitious” business punishment plan, or as he would call it, his budget proposal.

The Washington Obamost, which doesn’t even care pretend not to be an arm of Obama’s propaganda machine, has the glorious news of Barry’s private sector job killing budget ideas in “Obama to Unveil an Ambitious Budget Plan.”

President Obama is putting the finishing touches on an ambitious first budget that seeks to cut the federal deficit in half over the next four years, primarily by raising taxes on business and the wealthy and by slashing spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, administration officials said.

So he jets and campaigns across the nation with trademark show-over-substance to stoke support for the deficit-bloating pig roast that is supposed to stimulate the economy with STD prevention and now he is concerned about the deficit. By the way, I figured out how STD prevention creates jobs. You see, all the people that have lost jobs in manufacturing, sales, or service industries can go to work for for “Big Brother” and get paid per condom distributed.I also believe that the $400 million to study global warming can create jobs as follows. Some displaced workers can collect federal funds to sit in their homes as a means of offsetting the emissions that are created by all of Barry’s campaign trips.

Back to “Big Brother” Barry’s ambition. I’ll bet Hugo Chavez thinks of him as something of an honorary son, and has reason to be proud. Obama’s disdain for the private sector and liberty would appear to make him a chip off the old Venezualan block. The similarities between Chavez and Obama are worth consideration:

Chavez just accomplished the abolition of presidential term limits and some libiot congressman proposed doing the same in this country shortly before the dark day of the Obama inauguration.

Chavez shut down voices of opposition through licensing of media outlets and “Big Brother” Barry’s acting FCC stooge wants to silence conservative talk radio in the same fashion.

They are both fond of domestic terrorist William Ayers.

It is a good thing Obama is talking down protectionism, considering his upcoming assault on American business. Raisng taxes on the sources of productivity and employment is a great way to spur growth… as long as the desired growth is in government dependents! The bright side is that it ensures a growing block of voters that will surrender personal liberty as they are forced into the collective. You go, Barack! Close those private businesses! Who the hell do business owners think they are, trying to make a profit? Barry’ll show them. The Obamorons won’t be happy until the only way a person can make a profit is by becoming a liberal entertainer.

The Obamost also touts “Big Brother” Barry’s plan to trap a larger portion of the population into depending on the state for medical care:

Obama’s budget request would create “running room for health reform,” the official said, by reducing spending on some health programs so the administration would have money to devote to initiatives to expand coverage. The biggest target is bonus payments to insurance companies that run managed-care programs under Medicare, known as Medicare Advantage.

And this scary thought:

Administration officials also are debating whether to permit people as young as 55 to purchase coverage through Medicare. That age group is particularly vulnerable in today’s weakened economy, as many have lost jobs or seen insurance premiums rise rapidly. The cost would depend on whether recipients were offered a discount or required to pay the full price of coverage.

Sick, isn’t it? How do we recover from the Obamorons attempts to facilitate “recovery?”

It seems fitting that the former occupant of the fictional Office of the President-elect is returning to his core competency in the midst of the current crisis. He is on the campaign trail. I guess the idea is to stick to what you are good at and any intellectually honest observer can attest to the fact that slick, snake-oil salesman type campaigning is just about the only thing at which “The One” has proven a proficiency.

It also seems fitting that during the Fort Myers, FL campaign stop, he responded to RINO Governor Charlie Crist’s warm introduction as follows:

“This is not about partisan politics,” Republican Gov. Charlie Crist said in introducing the Democratic president. “This is about rising above that.”

Trying to strike the same tone, Obama thanked Crist, saying: “When the town is burning, you don’t check party labels. Everybody needs to grab a hose.”

Actually everybody that attempts to live their lives responsibly “needs to grab” something because they are getting hosed! What Crist is doing is the opposite of “rising above”, it is sinking to a low and slithering like a snake once that low is reached.

I didn’t see if Obama thanked Crist for his role in putting up the sacrificial Republican lamb who he defeated in November, but he definitely should have. I suppose Crist believes that if a portion of the massive pork bill is sent to Florida, he and his fellow bureaucrats can put it to good use and put the Floridians back to work. If this doesn’t work out, he and his fellow bureacrats just need to ask for more the next time.

Barack Obama has displayed an overwhelming arrogance… but of course the adoring leftist media portrays him as humble. He is willing to admit a mistake on the heels of a long line of tax cheat administration nominations after all. He is also prone to claiming that his victory in November means that the nation wants whatever Obama wants. The dangers of the uninformed electorate are being exposed now that it is too late. Of course, the dangers that are exposed will be reframed such that they don’t affect the next election cycle.

I’ve read comments regarding the fact that the Dems won in November and therefore are taking control, which is natural. Does the fact that they have a near super-majority mean that whatever they push is acceptable? The fact that a misled (giving the voters the benefit of the doubt) electorate gave the majorities and The White House to the libiots, does not automatically qualify their idiotic plans as acceptable.

Is there a point at which the incremental socialization of our nation will become an issue to those who sneer at the mentions of Cuba or Venezuala as related to our plight? Will there be a point when people who might be inclined to poke fun at the inefficiency and waste associated with government wake up to the fact that more and more is falling under the control of the only thing that is growing, the wasteful and grotesquely ineffient government? Will there come a time when citizens will be hurt badly enough that they stop voting for their oppressors and the limp RINOs that serve as accessories to the theft of liberty?

Being snowed in thanks to the anthropogenic global warming (or is it climate change now?) over which “Big Brother” Barry says we will not continue to drag our heels, I was able to witness Obama use IBM and Honeywell CEOs to help him sell a bad product. Sam Palmisano of IBM and Dave Cote of Honeywell took turns at the podium (I miss the “Office of The President-elect” sign) to praise President Obama and assert the business community’s support for slyly (and poll-tested) named The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Shall we suspend disbelief and ignore the potential benefits which could be enjoyed by such companies as IBM and Honeywell upon passage and release of the pork (h/t Mark Levin) with which this Obamulus is larded? Of course these executives are looking out for their self-interest and the interest of their shareholders, which is to be expected. It would be unfortunate if the performance influenced public opinion such that there is not an outcry of sufficient volume to derail this monstrosity. For a quick look at some of the juicy tidbits that prove the Obamulus is a bad leftist joke click here.

Hey, I’m looking out at a snow-covered landscape, can I get a piece of that $400 million to study climate change? What if I promise to be stimulated? I don’t have an STD, does that qualify me for a piece of the $335 million for STD prevention? These two items account for $735 million dollars and this, to quote the man who gave us President Obama, John McCain, “my friends” is an example of the crap that is being tucked into this bill that does not have a damn thing to do with stimulating the economy!

It does feel like the sky as falling, so the cries from Washington don’t seem outlandish. What does seem outlandish is the fact that party in power is counting either on American amnesia or the fact that they can do whatever they please and blame the results on “8 years of Bush policy.” I personally, don’t suffer from amnesia, therefore I recall the cries from September. These cries said we need to bail out this and stimulate that. These cries said we must put a TARP here and redecorate some executive offices there. These cries said action must happen immediately! How did that work out for the nation? Libiots, I ask you, how can you claim bigger and more pork-packed action is required on the heels of your colossal failure from September?

Does the marionette show with IBM and Honeywell, which are organizations that actually produce and provide jobs, distract from the facts that disreputable voter fraud organizations such as ACORN are being paid off with this recovery act? MEMO to the Democrats: You have the presidency and majorities in both houses of Congress, you don’t need more dead or fictional voters! Perhaps this is a payment for services rendered in the previous election and a little taste of what can be had in the future. Regardless, I am confident that giveaways to groups like ACORN will quickly turn around the nation’s economy. If I register my dogs and promise that they will vote Democrat, can I get a piece of ACORN’s action?

Back to the corporations that are helping to apply the lipstick to this pig. Do IBM and Honeywell honchos think about the long term ramifications of an even bigger and more controlling central government? Do they weigh the impact on liberty against the shorter term opportunities to profit from some of the bloated government’s actions, which will harm other organizations and industries? If these companies realize a profit from mandates for solar panels, windmills, or IT updates for federal facilities and schools (or whatever carrots are encouraging their support), will it be lasting? If eventually the giant government monster they are helping to create turns on them, will they accept responsibility?

I guess the message is to grab what you can, while you can, and hope it is enough to get you through… until the next round of stimulus, Obamulus, or whatever you want to call it. Will this type of government spending/expansion/hand-out extravaganza be a quarterly occurence for the forseeable future? If so, we should start thinking about what should be slipped into the Obamerican re-Recovery and re-Reinvestment Act of 2009, which I guess will be discussed in May of this year. If I may be so bold as to insist that the following be considered in the name of the greater good:

-HDTV for airing Linda Ellerbee’s leftist Nick News episodes in after school programs across the nation, with a focus on urban areas.

-Condom and birth control dispensers for the same after school programs.

-Free expanded basic cable for any household that can verify that no resident has a job.

-Funding for enhanced methane capture techniques and distribution of any cow-fart filters that may be created as a result of this research.

-Funding to study ways to eliminate the most prominent of the greenhouse gases, water vapor, from the environment (in order to show that our leadership is serious about this pending disaster.)

-Refrigeration standards that eliminate temperature choice in domestic refrigerators (stupid citizens shouldn’t waste energy just because they like cold beverages) with accompanying funding for (Honeywell maybe?) development of tamper-proof controls that do not allow setting below the maximum temperature that will prevent food spoilage.

-Private residence heating and air conditioning standards and funding for the development of a centrally located network control (IBM maybe?) to remotely set and monitor the tamper proof home thermostats preferably designed and built by Honeywell.

-Funding for something to make the LGBT community not feel left out… perhaps development and distribution of a textbook and accompanying DVD to public schools that will espouse the societal benefits of being gay, lesbian, bisexual, or trans-gendered and conversely, why marriage between a man and a woman is considered deviant behavior.

-Funding to erect twin Obama monuments, one in Chicago and the other in Washington D.C. Each monument will be at least the size of the Washington monument (in height) and is to have an accompanying visitors’ center and Obama merchandise shop. Each monument should resemble a human ear.

This May, it will be critical to the future of our nation and really the only way to save the economy, to ensure the above suggestions be included in next quarter’s vital Obamulus package.
