Will G.E. Profit From Obama’s War?

General Electric has become a detestable entity and I would recommend that when given a choice, one refrain from purchasing any product or service associated with the once great company. As if it wasn’t bad enough that the”news” division works so hard on behalf of Obama’s assault on liberty, or that with the help of Tom Daschle, G.E. hopes to have a monopoly on America’s medical records, I read today that they have hit a new low. From The Wall Street Journal:

GE to Obtain Stem Cells From Geron For Research

Biotech company Geron Corp. agreed to provide stem cells to General Electric Co.’s GE Healthcare for use in tools that will test for the toxic effects of drug treatments, a move that takes GE further into stem-cell research.

The agreement marks the first time that a company of GE’s stature and size has announced a business venture involving the controversial field of embryonic stem cells. That could reflect a more tolerant climate for the technology in the wake of the Obama administration’s recent relaxation of restrictions on embryonic stem-cell research.

Did I mention that the war to which I refer in the subject of this post is Obama’s war on the unborn? I suppose it is comforting that G.E. isn’t partnering with Planned Parenthood to experiment on and potentially profit from aborted babies at various stages of development… yet. You might be thinking that G.E. might be doing this to help keep the MSNBC talent happy, given the stories about Keith Olbermann’s “short-comings”, but you would be wrong. Anyway, Rachel Madcow is man enough for both of them.
