Of course I am not complaining about President Bush inviting Grand Chancellor Elect "Big Brother" Barack Obama to begin working on the transition. The sign on the podium and the insignia on the web-site are over the top... but hey, this is Barack Obama, he who will control the wind, the sun, the rain, and the snow. Why would he need a transition team in the Defense Department? Doesn't he just need someone from QVC to come in and put 25% of the equipment up for sale and maybe a headhunter to come in and reduce personnel? Remember he wants a powerful "Civilian Defense Corps" or SS as they used to be called. Does all this spinning make you dizzy?

At the invitation of President Bush, President Elect Obama (yes, that is his official designation) was asked to put together his new team early and start working straight away on the transition, especially in the Defense and Treasury departments. Since this team will necessarily be quite large and will need the coordination and many of the resources of the current administration, what do you expect him to call it? "The Group of People Assembled by the President Elect at the request of The President to Assist in the Smooth Transition of Power"? This is what you have to complain about?
